Cannon Hill Puppet Theatre Auction Due to the refurbishment at the Midlands Art Centre in Birmingham the puppets from Cannon Hill Puppet Theatre which have been in storage since the theatre closure in 1996 are to be sold. A selection of the puppets will be coming up to us and be part of the collection in the Mitchell Library, while the majority will be auctioned off at the MAC. Information on the auction will be placed here when we get it. The auction will be handled by PUK who will recive 15% of the sales. There is more information on their website here. |

Auction Details Date: Sunday 30 March 2008 The auction will be held at the Midlands Art Centre, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham from 11.00 - 2.00 in the Cinema. Admission will be by ticket only available from MAC box office, priced £5.00 (including the catalogue on the day). PUK strongly advise potential bidders to book in advance. Viewing will be from 9.00 am to 11.00, in the Dance Studio. Arrangements are being made for postal bidding. PUK have created a website for the auction. It contains details of all the figures as well as bidding information. |
