Methuselah - UK

This Methuselah figure was carved by the famous English marionettist Waldo Lanchester. It is carved from bog oak found in the Solway Firth on the border between Scotland and England and is approximately 16000  years old,  making Methuselah an obvious choice as a subject. The oak is so hard that Lanchester broke several chisels carving it.
