We can offer a unique opportunity to study the art and craftsmanship of creative puppet theatre performance at the highest professional standard, from the identification of an idea and argument, through to the final details of the presentation and performance. This includes the initial planning of a project, the search for an idea and an argument; text analysis and drafting; performance conventions; direction; puppets, masks and setting design; craft and technology; rehearsal processes; music; light and sound; the actor, the mask and the puppet in all of its forms and combinations; the audience as part collaborator; the organisation and management of the performance space.

The intention is to encourage the puppeteer to develop new work and ideas. The focus is based, first and foremost, on practice with, where necessary, some academic underpinning.

We would be happy to work with a company, group or individual on the development of new work and ideas.
